How difficult is it to install blinds in a small window? 10 POINTS?

Natalia asked:
I’ve never done it before…does everything come assembles in the blinds? I want to do this for my window in my room. Is it do-able?? Thanks! 10 POINTS!
OH and if my window is 68 inches in length, then what size blinds should I get if they offer something a little smaller: 60 inches, or something a little bigger: 72 inches???

its very easy, everything is included
its very do able, as long as you have the proper tools such as a drill and a screw driver, it should take you no longer than 10-20 minutes
Completely do-able! It’s not hard at all and they have directions with picture guides in the box! I hope that helps!
if you can follow directions it’ll be easy
Definitely doable. Just measure the width of the window and go buy that size. It comes with screws. All you need is a screwdriver and muscle anless you have one of those hand-held mini ones
It’s easy, but you want to be precise. If you have a level, and a pencil then you’ll be fine. The blinds do come with the hardware, so all you’ll need is the tools to put them in. I do want to suggest something though, try blinds that aren’t slitted…those are such a pain to clean, and they stain easily. Try roman shades (or any shade), they’re so much easier to maintain, and they’re nicer looking than blinds.
Not at all difficult, just follow directions and you’ll be finished before you know it! Good Luck! You can do it!
First, decide where on the window you want them hung. Inside the frame or outside the frame? Once you decide, then take your measurements, and be exact! Once they’re cut, you bought it. Follow the directions for mounting the brackets and install. You can also remove (according to instructions) the excess slats on the bottom. On a difficulty scale of 1 to 10 I’d rate this a 3.
It is not to difficult. You will want to make sure that you use wall anchors if you are not able to screw directly into a stud. If you don’t, sometime in the future you will be pulling the cord for the blinds, and they will come down on your head. Generally the screws that come with are too short.
To install, you will need a pencil to mark the bracket locations, a cordless drill/driver, a drill bit suitable for your screw or wall anchor size, a Phillips head screw bit with extension or a Phillips head screw driver (number 2 size). A second person to help would also be good.
If you are not able to get premade blinds the width of your window, most home improvement stores can cut them to size for you.
The trick here, is to hold the bracket in perfect position while you try to start the screw.
To solve that problem, buy a small roll of double sided tape. Cut and put a piece on the bracket where it will screw to the window frame, stick it in place, THEN put the screws in. The tape will allow you to put the brackets exactly where you want them and stay there so you can put the screws in.
