Tanya asked: I am going to move in to an apartment community downstairs and I realized that the new place only have those basic vertical window blinds that do not have any pratical functions. I am thinking of adding window drapes in the living room and bedroom to block the sun and add some privacy. However I realize that most rods require wall drilling during installation, which may not be possible because I rent an apartment (and they will charge my deposit because of this when I move out).
I wonder if anyone has any solution to this problem, because I don’t want my neighbors walk by my apartment and get any chance to peek what I have in my living spaces. Any cheap and easy DIY method is highly appreciated.
