Window Blinds Info and Tips

I’m not allowed to paint/or take them down and I really hate the way they look and would really like to cover them with some sheers or drapes or both but I have not idea how to do this with out making more holes in the walls or taking them down.

I’f it helps its a sliding glass door and the vertical blinds run in one direction.

Any Ideas ?

The window is about 10 feet high, and there is no surface below for a ladder.. just carpeted stairs. Is there a type of scaffold or any other suggestions? (we also want to install blinds on the same window so we need to get up there)

I bought some hortizontal mini blinds for the office. They are “Alabaster” color. They were cheap, but they don’t quite match with walls, which are a light green.

I’m thinking a couple of cans of Krylon will do the trick.

Wondering if anyone has every done this before.
Hey, smart aleck, they were cheap because they were on the clearance rack at Big Lots. I’m not about to drop the big bucks on blinking blinds that will just get ruined.
