Window Blinds Info and Tips

My living room consists of cream color couch, hardwood floors with a cream shag space rug and dark coffee/end tables. I want a sheer cream color curtain but I can’t figure out what shade of green I should use for the main curtain. All the colors I find are light green or off shades of green. I have a lot of detailed white wood work around the double window. So I’m dumbfounded in the color scheme I should use for such a dark green. Any help, ideas, or pictures would be great. Thanks!

My vertical window blinds are curling and are becoming pointless because they let in a lot of light and there are huge gaps between each section. Does anyone know how to prevent this?

I can’t move into my new home until December, but want to get an idea of what window coverings will cost. I estimate it would be about $3000 for faux wood blinds for my 2300 sq ft house, but have no clue how Roman shades run. Anyone know??
Would you agree both are still a lot cheaper than plantation shutters?
