If possible I would take them down and spread them out so they can get some sun.Then mix up some lemon ammonia and HOT water then take a broom and dip it, then scrub the shades.Then rinse with water hose and let SUN dry, that might take it out.Be careful of bleach and water, will fade out the bamboo.The sun may do a little fading so watch when they dry.Don’t forget to put some lemon oil on them to give a little moisture back…hope this helps…

I have wooden blinds throughout in my home (and a little one as well, so I understand the concern for safe cleaners!)

What I do is, I take the blinds outside and squirt them down with the hose, add some Murphy’s Oil Soap to an snow brush (I know, sounds strange, but it works like a charm!), rinse clean, and let them dry in the sun. I do this every year. I also use fabric softener dryer sheets in the winter months for a quick clean. The softener on the sheet acts as a barrier, so it actually repels dust.

both look fine from the street, but mini blinds are common and tend to look cheap. we have both in our home (diff rooms) and i really like the look of the roller shade from the outside. plus if it’s for the bedroom, it will block out the morning light better!

Save yourself a lot of money by making some of your Roman Shades. You could do the larger windows yourself, then spend the money for what you want on the remaining windows. See instructions below for making your own Roman Shades.

make sure the blinds are free from grease and get a paint that you can use on vinyl a gloss paint or vinyl silk.

I think these days the wide horizontal blinds look classier .
of course it depends on the window and the quality of the blinds you buy , its definitely not something you want to skimp on .

Well, it depends if you want fabric or wooden (usually bamboo) roman shades. Fabric roman shades will cost you about $20-45 a piece, where bamboo ones will cost you about $30-50. Faux wood blinds will cost you about $15-40. Overall, the faux wood blinds should cost you a bit less, so if you absolutely love roman shades a lot more than faux wood shades, go for it!

i think the style of your writing is very ammature, but its actually quit good.
what is the purpose in the story though?
what made you write this? are you a thief?
a book shouldnt always be about opening up yourself, but i am also into writing and i find that topics come easier when i look into myself.

I haven’t found an easy way.
But I hose off the cement on the driveway.
Then take the blinds down & spray them with 409 cleaner & let them soak for a few minutes & then hose them off.
