mannyrammer asked:
We just purchased some top down bottom up cellular shades from a website and we put them up and there are a TON of cords..with a baby, it is kind of scary!! We also have a large window about 35 x 105 and the store said we had to purchase three seperate shades to cover the window which is leaving us with 6 seperate cords!! Does anyone know of any place that sells this feature and cordless for such a large window?
Sorry the window is 105 x 70

Jenny asked: I am trying to choose a color for cellular shades. Our walls are a pale cream (the paint color is called antique white, but it is more cream in appearance). The window ledge is oak, but the casings are white (they would be totally hidden by the shades though).
Would it be best to try to match the wall color? Or would it be better to go a little darker. I think I might like the color called “camel”, but am worried that they may look too dark compared to the walls. But each time I hold the sample up, I think I like the look of it…
To add to the confusion, we went to one window treatment store and it was recommended we aim for something a little darker than the walls. We went to another store and it was recommended that we try to match the walls because you don’t want the window being the “focal point” of the room.
I am so confused and trying to make a decision today!
ETA: Here is a photo of the sample I am thinking of:
The coloring is not showing up the greatest, but it will give you an idea…

Here is a photo of the vertical blinds that matches the color of the shades. We would use this on the sliding glass door a few feet away from the window…
